Attack on Titan released a special manga one-shot in a new artbook. The book has a name Attack on Titan: Fly, this is an official art book of the manga Attack on Titanincludes illustrations by manga author Hajime Isayama.
Artbook Attack On Titan: FLY will feature 200 pages of art from the Attack On Titan manga, including rough sketches, storyboards, and new color pages colored by the same assistant responsible for the color pages and covers during production original version of the manga.
Accompanying the new artbook is a one-shot focusing on Levi, one of the most beloved characters. This makes fans of the Survey Corps captain extremely excited, because they have the opportunity to learn more about their favorite character.
The one-shot titled Levi: Bad Boy is the work of Hajime Isayama, the author of the series, and features 18 pages that explore Levi’s story in more depth. We get to see how young Levi grew up with his mother and how he survived her death.
The manga tells the story of Levi’s childhood with his mother underground and how he developed a love for tea, a detail his character carries throughout the series.
Levi is left in the slums of the streets and he ends up being watched over by Uncle Kenny. That man left Levi after the boy’s power awakened. It seems Levi was able to exploit his bloodline abilities after nearly being trafficked.
Left alone without a guardian, Levi continues to explore his newfound powers in the slums, while preserving the memory of his mother with tea. Veventually he joined the reconnaissance corps.
Fans of the series have greatly appreciated this new glimpse into Levi’s past, which adds more depth to the character.
