Chapter 9 of the Boruto: Two Blue Vortex manga confirms the return of the nine-tailed fox Kurama inside Uzumaki Himawari. But unlike Kurama with Naruto, this one has all of the Nine-Tails’ chakra.

Fans still don’t know how this is possible, but speculate that she received some of Kurama’s chakra when she was born, which explains the marks on her face. Boruto also has it, but he was taken by Momoshiki as a vessel, so Himawari is probably the best choice.

Furthermore, the new version of Kurama seems to have no hatred for humans and is even wiser than the version Naruto was involved with. This implies that if Himawari masters this power, she could become stronger than Naruto.

Himawari’s power

One of Naruto’s main mottos is that the new generation is always superior to the old. In Himawari’s case, this is clearly shown when she was only 3 years old, and was able to use the Soft Fist inherited from the Hyuga clan. She also proves to be very intelligent, showing herself to be a prodigy much like Boruto, and Kurama’s powers end up being an important addition.

We cannot forget that Himawari, at her core, has the chakra and life force of the Uzumaki clan, surpassing all clans, which puts her on the path to becoming one of the strongest kunoichi of all time.

Naruto’s tailed beast had half its power sealed within Namikaze Minato. Naruto spent most of the series trying to master just a portion of Kurama’s chakra. In Boruto, Naruto’s power was divided in half again, this time to Momoshiki Otsutsuki.

The reincarnated Kurama did not have these problems and that is why Naruto’s daughter was able to wield much greater tailed beast power than her father.

However, it’s worth noting that this new version of Kurama still looks like a “child”. Kurama’s power may not be great anymore now, but in the end it has everything to put Naruto’s daughter on the front lines of the strongest.

Is Himawari the last hope?

Like Naruto, Himawari, as the Jinchuuriki of the Nine-Tails, is also capable of using the power of the Baryon state. Perhaps she will be able to master this power and get her own way without such dire consequences, while also highlighting her role in the story as a prodigy member of the world. The new generation needs to surpass their predecessors, especially her father.
